I've been fishing the rivers of southern Oregon for more than 25 years. I’m definitely hooked.

I see each day on the river as an adventure and enjoy every minute I'm out there on the water. From the peacefulness of floating down the river to the subtle bite of a Steelhead to the savage takedown of a Chinook taking down a plug. I love it all.

And I truly enjoy sharing it with others. I treasure working with first-timers as they work to hookup and land that first fish. And just as much enjoy floating down with veterans – of these rivers or others. Every day on the river is a treat to share and learn.

I've fished the entire west coast – from Alaska to Mexico – and believe that the rivers and the fish we see in southern Oregon are something spectacular. I've lived in Oregon all my life and it takes fishing outside of the area to make me really appreciate how great we have it here.

I'm an avid outdoorsman. When I’m not on the river you can find me archery hunting for deer and elk, upland-bird hunting – or maybe watching football. My obsession with the rivers started with Steelhead on the Rogue and I’ve fanned out from there, growing experience and knowledge of nearly all of the rivers of southern Oregon.

I live in rural southern Oregon with my wonderful wife, Sara, and two incredible kids, Carson and Bree. We all love being on the river – you'll see a lot of the kids growing up in the photos on this site. And Sara and I both have back-pocket recipes that take advantage of our productive days on the river.
